Played extensively at rural southern Drive-in theaters, these films reinforced all the most savage stereotypes about the wanton women and violent men that dwelt down in the bayous, swamps and boondocks. As the poster screamed: “Somewhere a 15-year-old girl may be a teenager, but in Cajun country she’s a woman full grown! – And every Bayou man knows it!” Starring Tim “the greatest sinner on earth” Carey.
13:45:FLAMING STRIPTEASE: 30 minutes of the most extreme 50’s striptease acts ever filmed.
14:30: WILD HARVEST, 1962, 80 min., Beautiful women forced to work on a remote California vineyard are brutalized by the sadistic plantation boss but join together in the end to extract a violent and just revenge. A moody and stylized film with a great soundtrack. A real gem.

Superhelt i westernmiljø! En maskeret hævner á la Zorro bekæmper uretfærdighed i det vilde vesten. Han slår ikke et ’Z’ med en korde efter udført gerning, men efterlader i stedet en sort sherif-stjerne. En spaghetti western med bl.a. Robert Woods og masser af action, vold og underholdning!
14:30 – SEVEN GUNS FOR THE MacGREGORS / MacGregors 7 gunfighters (Franco Giraldi, 1966)
Syv skotske brødre, hvor af den ene spilles af hovedrolleindehaver Robert Woods, kommer på tværs af kvægtyve og korrupte magthavere i en spaghetti western med action og smil på læben.
Den skotske nybygger familie i det gamle vesten står sammen og til tonerne af Ennio Morricones score med gjaldende trompeter tager også drengenes forældre del i kampen!

At restaurant Boyd.nu, Vanløse Torv 3 – literally right at the metro station – on Tuesday at 18.00. This is the first of a series of monthly screenings where good movies collide with good eating. We kick off the 2007 season with the strangest science-fiction cult film ever made (1962) in Denmark – Journey to the 7th Planet. The evening will be hosted by the son of one of it’s stars - Henning Sprogøe! We also hope that Annie Birgit Garde, who appears in the film (and many others) will attend to boost the star power. The specialty dish to be served this evening is Bouillabaisse & (good) cheese, which was Ove’s favorite. Price for dinner and film is 170 kr.
