20:00 = DOC OF THE DEAD (DANISH PREMIERE!)
2014, directed by Alexandre O. Philippe, 81 min.
Brought to the screen by the creators of the hit documentary "The People vs. George Lucas," "Doc of The Dead" delves deep into the evolution of the zombie genre in film and literature, as well as its impact and influence on pop culture, to deliver a comprehensive, fast-paced, highly entertaining look at a contemporary social pandemic of global proportions. "Doc of the Dead" gives us a rich and entertaining dialogue with zombie authors, filmmakers and scholars, and features a host of zombie icons including Max Brooks, George A. Romero, Simon Pegg, Robert Kirkman, Bruce Campbell, and many more!
21.30 = RE-ANIMATOR (screened on authentic 35mm!)
1985, directed by Stuart Gordon, 104 min.
Says Rolling Stone: "Director Gordon, adapting H.P. Lovecraft's story, "Herbert West: Re-Animator," puts a zowie zombie spin on the Frankenstein myth. The result is a bloody Z-fest that earns its cult status. The wonderfully beady-eyed Jeffrey Combs stars as creepy med student Herbert West, who experiments with bringing body parts to herky-jerky life before moving on to his dead prof, Dr. Hans Gruber (Al Berry). You only think you get the picture. Re-Animator springs surprises that puke all over your preconceptions."

17.00 / NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
(Screened on authentic 16mm!), 1968
directed by George Romero, 96 min
The film that started it all holds up as a stark, eerie and unrelenting parable of dread. Shot on a low budget with grainy film stock and a mostly amateur cast and crew, there's a no-frills approach to the material. The frequently handheld camerawork lends it a sense of immediacy and tension right from the start, when a brother and sister are visiting their mother's grave and, after he teases her by chanting, "They're coming to get you, Barbara!" his joke comes true when a roving, flesh-eating zombie promptly dispatches him and chases her to an abandoned farmhouse.
